_Koutoubia Mosque (exterior) The city’s landmark. Non-Muslims can’t enter, but you can enjoy the gardens and view. – Good meeting/start point. _Saadian Tombs – Beautiful mausoleum of the Saadian dynasty (16th century), rediscovered in 1917. – Fine example of Moroccan decorative art (stucco, marble, zellige). _Bahia Palace – A masterpiece of Moroccan architecture (19th century). – Wander through rooms, courtyards, gardens. _Mellah (Jewish Quarter) – Small walk to see the historic quarter and spice markets. Midday (Souks & Lunch) Jemaa el-Fna Square Heart of the city, with juice stalls, street performers, food vendors. Great spot to stop for a drink or early lunch.6. Souks (Markets) Wander the maze: Souk Semmarine (clothes, fabrics) Souk el Attarine (spices, perfumes) Souk Haddadine (metal work) Best to go with a guide if you want context & avoid getting lost. Afternoon (Culture & Views) Ben Youssef Madrasa (recently restored) Stunning Islamic school with carved cedar, stucco, and colorful tiles.
Depart Marrakech via Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO Kasbah) and continue to Dades Valley through the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Overnight in Dades Valley.
Drive to Todra Gorges and Tinghir. Continue to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. Overnight in Merzouga hotel/riad.
Morning exploration: Khamlia village (Gnawa music) and local sights. Afternoon camel trek into Erg Chebbi dunes. Overnight in Berber desert camp.
Depart Merzouga north via Ziz Valley, Midelt, Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”), and Azrou cedar forest. Arrive in Fes. Overnight in Fes.
Full-day guided visit of Fes: medina, Al-Qarawiyyin University, tanneries, souks, and Andalusian architecture. Overnight in Fes.
Drive to Meknes: El Hedim Square and Bab El Mansour. Visit Roman ruins at Volubilis. Continue to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Ancient 15th-century fortress. Andalusian garden, ethnographic museum, and tower offering a beautiful view of the Blue Medina. 2: Stroll through the Blue Medina Stroll through the iconic blue-walled streets. Photogenic streets: Sidi Buchuka Street, Outa el Hammam Street, and the area around Ras El Maa. Discover small craft shops (carpets, wool, pottery). 3: Ras El Maa Fountain Small water source outside the ramparts, where locals once washed their clothes. Peaceful spot with views of the Rif Mountains. 4: Climb to the Spanish Mosque (if time and energy permit) Located on a hill, a 20-minute walk from the medina. Magnificent panorama of the entire Blue City, ideal for sunset photos (if visiting at the end of the day).
Morning stroll through Chefchaouen’s blue medina and Kasbah. Depart for Rabat: Oudaias Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to Casablanca. Overnight in Casablanca.
Visit Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, then drive back to Marrakech via the highway. End of tour. Overnight in Marrakech (end of tours).
